How culture and creativity can drive the green transition – new report published
Voices of Culture (VoC) – the structured dialogue between the European Commission and the cultural sector – has published a Brainstorming Report on the Culture and Creative Sectors and Industries, the green transition and the energy crisis.
In the report cultural experts analyse ways and opportunities to speed up the green transition and to address the energy crisis in and through the cultural and creative sectors and industries. Prof. Piero Baglioni took part of this brainstorming process as key expert and Coordinator of the GREENART project which proposes new solutions, based on green and sustainable materials and methods, to preserve, conserve and restore Cultural Heritage.
The experts’ insights and findings shall inspire European cultural policies and initiatives to tackle climate change and other environmental challenges by decarbonising cultural activities.
