On October 24-25, 2024, Antonio Mirabile, a valued partner of the GREENART Project, led an impactful two-day workshop at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli (Academy of Fine Arts of Naples). The workshop focused on research and innovation in the conservation of painted, contemporary, and paper-based cultural heritage.

During the sessions, participants explored advanced methods and materials in cultural heritage conservation, with a particular emphasis on environmentally sustainable solutions. Mirabile shared insights on GREENART’s ongoing work, which aims to develop “green” materials and techniques for the preservation of cultural artifacts. The workshop provided an in-depth look at these emerging technologies and their applications in preserving different types of cultural heritage.
