On 13-14 May 2023, another successful conservation seminar was held at the Macedonian Holocaust Memorial Center over the weekend as part of the GREENART and EduCon project directed by Irena Ruzin.
The seminar was held by paper conservator Antonio Mirabile, who transferred his knowledge and experience to conservators of North Macedonian conservation centers, museums and the NU Library in Skopje. During the two days he also presented the European funded projects GREENART and Aurora.
Participants also had the opportunity to share their experience, work with different methods and learn more about the use of nanomaterials in the preservation of works of art as an alternative to conventional conservation materials. The seminar consisted of theoretical, didactical and hands-on approach. The seminar was judged by the participants to be of very high quality, useful and innovative. At the end, all participants received certificates and the expert keeps in touch with the participants for all questions and consultations.
