The Tate GREENART Project Team, a partner of WP2 and lead partner for Task 2.3, hosted a two-day workshop with the CSGI (Consorzio Interuniversitario per lo sviluppo dei Sistemi a Grande Interfase – Center for Colloid and Surface Science) at Tate Britain in London.
The workshop combined presentations by researchers from CSGI, which outlined the results achieved within the first year of the Greenart project and the use and understanding of the new nanostructured fluids, consolidants and responsive gel formulations – including hydro- and organo-gels – with trial applications of some of these new materials on a test painting by Tate conservators and scientists.
In addition to the workshop, the Tate Project Team and researchers from CSGI took part in a film produced by UKRI (UK Research and Innovation) on 31 January 2024, in which they had the opportunity to share more details about the GREENART Project.
