Founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1872, Shiseido is one of the oldest and most esteemed cosmetic companies in the world. As the largest cosmetic firm in Japan and the fifth largest globally, Shiseido’s expertise spans skin care, makeup, body care, hair care, and fragrances.
Role in the GREENART Project
In the GREENART project, Shiseido will play a crucial role in the formulation of green materials. Their involvement will extend to the exploitation and industrialization activities of the newly developed solutions and tools. Shiseido’s vast experience in innovative product development will facilitate the transfer of these green solutions to transversal industrial sectors, reaching beyond cultural heritage conservation to fields such as cosmetics and detergency.
